Kid's Programs

Squid Squad BJJ

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
5:30pm – 6:30pm

Ages 4-7, the Squid Squad will focus on movement, agility, and foundational BJJ techniques such as shrimping, break falls, technical stand-ups, and other basics. This program aims to provide focus, discipline, self-confidence, and a basic understanding of self-defense against bullying both physically and verbally in specifically crafted situational drills.

Junior Krakens BJJ

5:30pm – 6:30pm

Ages 8-15, the Junior Krakens will build on the foundations of BJJ to incorporate fundamental aspects of BJJ such as guard/guard passing, control, submissions, and self-defense.

 


Dek Nak Muay - Muay Thai

5:30pm – 6:30pm

"Dek Nak Muay" (Little Kid Student of Boxing) is designed to teach the student the basics and fundamentals of Muay Thai.  This class introduces the student to physical fundamentals of stamina, striking concepts, and basic combinations. NO Kid Muay Thai classes will incorporate sparring.

Wayrun Nak Muay - Muay Thai

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
5:30pm – 6:30pm

"Wayrun Nak Muay" (pronounced 'why-roon') (Teen Student of Boxing) is designed to build upon the basics and fundamentals of Muay Thai as the student learns learns the concepts of incorporating knees and elbows.  This class builds on basic combinations and introduces level changes and more complex combos.  NO Kid Muay Thai classes will incorporate sparring.

Military & Law Enforcement Inquiries welcome

The Military and Law Enforcement Combatives programs provide instruction in Offensive and Defensive close-quarters combat situations.  Control, dominance, and sometimes weapons retention are crucial to the survival of the Soldier, Sailor, Airmen, Marine, or Law Enforcement Officer.  This program is based and builds on the Modern Army Combatives Program (MACP) - created by the United States Army Special Operations Command.
